1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling your child in Smart Education – Phonics and Grammar or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Smart Education provides specialized phonics and grammar education services for children aged 3-12 years, including:

• Phonics instruction and reading development programs
• Grammar and writing skills enhancement programs
• Individual and group classes
• Progress assessments and parent consultations
• Educational resources and materials

3. Enrollment and Registration

Enrollment Process

• Enrollment is subject to availability and completion of registration forms
• Registration is confirmed upon receipt of enrollment forms and initial payment
• We reserve the right to refuse enrollment at our discretion

Age Requirements

Our programs are designed for children aged 3-12 years. Age-appropriate placement will be determined based on the child's current skill level and developmental readiness.

4. Fees and Payment Terms

Fee Structure

• Fees are determined based on the program, frequency of classes, and duration
• Fee schedules are provided at the time of enrollment
• Fees are subject to change
• Additional charges may apply for materials, assessments, or special programs

Payment Terms

• Fees must be paid in advance according to the agreed payment schedule
• Late payment fees may apply for overdue accounts
• Services may be suspended for non-payment of fees

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Parents

30 days' written notice is required for program cancellation. Please contact us in writing to discuss your situation.

Cancellation by Smart Education

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend services due to non-payment, behavioral issues, or other circumstances that may affect the learning environment.

5. Attendance and Make-up Classes

• Regular attendance is essential for optimal learning outcomes
• Parents must notify us in advance of planned absences
• Make-up classes may be offered for excused absences, subject to availability
• No make-up classes for unexcused absences or last-minute cancellations
• Make-up classes must be scheduled within the same month as the missed class

6. Behavior and Conduct

We maintain a positive learning environment for all students. Expected behavior includes:

• Respectful behavior towards teachers and fellow students
• Following classroom rules and instructions
• Bringing required materials and completing assignments
• Arriving on time for scheduled classes

Note: Persistent behavioral issues may result in suspension or termination of services.

7. Health and Safety

• Parents must inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or special needs
• Children showing signs of illness should not attend classes
• We maintain appropriate safety measures and supervision during classes
• Emergency contact information must be kept current
• We are not responsible for injuries occurring outside our direct supervision

8. Intellectual Property

All teaching materials, curricula, and educational content developed by Smart Education are our intellectual property. These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our written consent.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality of student records and personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Limitation of Liability

Smart Education's liability is limited to the fees paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid for the specific program or service in question.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or other emergencies. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to enrolled families with reasonable notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Maharashtra, India. Any disputes will be resolved through appropriate legal channels in Mumbai jurisdiction.
